DAY 1: NAIROBI CITY – ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
Picked up from the airport in the morning or your hotel in Nairobi, we will drive to Aberdare National Park, Lunch at the scenic Aberdare Country club where on a clear afternoon, one can see the top of the snow capped Mount Kenya. Majestic giant with snow clad peak, Mt Kenya is Kenya’s highest mountain, country’s name sake and a mountain climbers Mecca Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
DAY 2: ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY
After a nice breakfast at the camp, you will go for a full day game in the park. Aberdare National Park is called The Majestic Moorland. Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characteristic the Aberdare national park. You will be able to see here elephants, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, olive baboons and much more. Our tour guide will do his best to show you all the animals which are living in this park but he will also take you to the most beautiful waterfalls. You will enjoy a great picnic lunch under the tree in the park At the end of the afternoon he will bring you back to Rhino Watch Safari lodge where you can relax a bit before having dinner. DAY 3: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAKURU
Early morning departure and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Picnic lunch enroute followed by afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of Nakuru town and lies a distance of 160km from Nairobi. The lake is world famous as home of flamingoes, the number of flamingoes depends on the water level which determines the quantity of algae on which the birds feed. Flamingoes are known to migrate to other Rift Valley lakes whenever water level is low.
DAY 4: Lake Nakuru National Park Game Drive
You will be picked by the driver in the morning to Lake Nakuru National Park for a full day game drive. Lake Nakuru is known as a Ramsar bird site specifically founded for the protection of the black and white rhino. It is also a home for more than 450 species of birds including the lesser and greater flamingos, pelicans, African fish eagles, and many others. Dinner and overnight Camp/lodge.
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After a full buffet breakfast in camp you will make your way to Maasai Mara National Park, the home of the Maasai tribe. After checking in to your lodge you will have lunch before departing on an afternoon game drive. Proud young Maasai warrior nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears will challenge your curiosity throughout the 700-square-mile game reserve. This is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge
DAY 6: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE FULL DAY
Enjoy tea, coffee and cookies in the lodge/camp after an early morning wake-up call before setting out for a game drive in the reserve. Early morning is the most popular game viewing time, with the low temperatures providing a favorable atmosphere for both the game and the viewer. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards roam the vast grasslands in search of their next meal – may be an unsuspecting impala or a small warthog. Whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe-inspiring! After full day game drive, return to the camp to enjoy your dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – NAIROBI
Morning game drive then proceed to Nairobi where the safari ends
